I moved to oakland two years ago and finally took the plunge to find a hair stylist here instead of driving 2 hours one way to my former stylist. I found Future Vanity and Alisa in particular and couldn't be happier! My first appointment was a radical change from long hair to a bob, and she was so careful in her consultation. Alisa listens, asks great questions, and made sure we were in agreement on specifics of the cut. Two weeks later I cam back for a long color appointment to fix my overly blonde/yellow hair, and again she consulted carefully with me, and I ended up with exactly what I wanted! I'm so glad I took a risk and found Alisa!

I have been going to Future salon for many years and I'm always pleased with the kind and professional staff. I love my hair stylist, Kaitrin, as she never fails to cut and highlight my short hair perfectly! She is also a wonderful person who has the sweetest smile on the planet!
