About Finger Paint
Finger Paint is a cozy, charming nail salon in Oakland's Glenview District. It is a go-to spot in the neighborhood, known for being clean and offering great service. The staff is consistently kind, friendly, sweet, and incredibly nice. They are efficient and take great care, with every person doing a great job. The manicurists are dedicated artists who take a lot of time and effort to perfect their work, including intricate nail art. The salon provides a wonderful experience for manicures and pedicures. It offers a good and great color selection for services like classic lacquer and sparkling gel polish. Prices are reasonable and feel like a steal for the quality. As a sister salon to Femimacus, it is proudly Asian and woman-owned. Beyond nails, the salon also offers soothing waxing treatments. It is a favorite and incredible little haven that customers love and highly recommend.
No frills nail salon, a bit more old school as they dont have the newest/trendiest products but they have regular nail polish + gel + dip + acrylic + gel X. Really enjoyed my gel manicure today and I think they did a solid job. The only man manicurist there was damn quick and shaped my nails to a perfect almond shape. I want that uncle for my next appt! Minus 1 star as I dont think they sterilize their equipment between usage and the UV light machine has no sensor so I had to keep reminding the lady to turn on the light so that my nails can cure.
Finger paint is incredible. My daughter and I started going here together on weekends when she was 4 (and going to east bay ballet down the street). Every person does a great job. They are so kind. We just love coming here for manicure pedicures.
I don’t usually get my nails done. Came in with a photo of starry nails. The manicurist really took a lot of time to try to match the photo perfectly, going through many bottles of polish to find the right gold color. (None of them quite worked, so we decided the white was better). So sweet and she really was an artist. I wanted a flat finish, so she used a flat top coat. This was a gel polish job. She charged me $40 which felt like a steal for the effort she put in.
