I’ve been going to file+style since 2018 and truly - I’ve never had a bad experience with LoAnn. She is always kind, communicative, and goes above and beyond - especially considering the crazy designs I ask her to do. I used to do hard gel and now I exclusively do gel x and they always last me a month at minimum. Occasionally I’ll get a pedicure here too - and the dazzle dry is a game changer bc it actually does dry in 5 minutes so I can get out and on with my day quickly. The online booking system is super easy and truly pro tip that if you any sort of design, you have to book with LoAnn. Worth every penny!

I really wanted to give this five stars because I had such a lovely experience with all the nail techs they were really just so sweet and the woman doing my nails was so gentle and careful. unfortunately the technique was just not there, the product wasn't applied close enough to the cuticle and has significant gaps only three days after getting them done. the shaping was not even either and the gel not applied smoothly causing bumps and waves. there were also small hairs cured into the gel that can't be removed. she was also unable to find or mix the color I requested and I just ended up accepting what she gave me. I really dislike writing poor reviews. And all in all, I should have spoke up about asking them to redo my nails, but the tech had already moved on to doing someone else’s nails so fast I didn’t want to interrupt. Before that, I was the only person in the salon, booked in advanced for a gel mani/pedi. Got a gel mani, they performed a regular pedi. I took in a reference photo from Pinterest for what I presumed to be an easy design for gel and said “if you can just do it exactly like the photo that would be great.”.
