I have attended Ellen's yoga classes for about 10 years. It is the perfect complement to my weight-lifting routine. After working on strength during the week, I always look forward to a stretch on Saturday. There are strength elements as well, but they work on different muscles. The congenial bunch of people is a bonus.

I've been taking yoga classes from Ellen for about 4 years and plan to continue for as long as I can do it! Ellen is excellent with both beginners and more advanced students. She works carefully and safely and at the same time challenges us. She's a delight personally and has an enormous amount of knowledge of the body. I've learned so much and my body loves her class. I've had multiple yoga teachers over the years but Ellen is head and shoulders above any others I've worked with.

This is a fabulous yoga class. No matter what's going on with me--tired, stiff, or sore or energetic, fit and present-- I come out of this class feeling better physically and mentally. When Ellen teaches she encourages mindfulness and presence with your body more than any other yoga teacher I have worked with. Every yoga teacher encourages you to be present, but with Ellen, I actually AM present. She spices up the yoga with a bit of Pilates and chi gong to great effect. When I've had injuries the class has been really helpful and never makes the problem worse.
