We hired EAG for exterior painting, interior painting, cabinet painting, skim coating, installation of baseboards, crown molding, window and door trim, and light drywall repair.
First off, their quote was half the cost of the other guys.
Secondly, we've hired electricians, plumbers, concrete workers, and roofers. EAG was by far the most communicative, reliable, punctual, and collaborative out of any one else we've worked with, and they will be our first choice for any future projects.
Thirdly, Its a smaller company which we loved, as we had the same 5 people working on the house over multiple months instead of a bunch of new people every day, or outside hires.
Workers showed up 10-15 minutes early everyday so they could start on time. The father-son owners were there every morning and end-of day to communicate the plan, and provide debrief, if not on site all day. It was clear the workers planned well, and were always cleaned up by 5pm like clockwork.
We were out of town for part of the work and received daily photo updates on progress. We work from home as well, and they were extremely flexible with working on the home despite us moving through their work spaces throughout the day.

Elder and team did a really careful, beautiful job restoring and painting my redwood siding. They also repaired some dry rot around window sills. I feel so much better knowing they did such careful work. Highly recommend.
