We reached out to Eric for a quote and he was quick to respond and gave answers to all of my questions. In the end we choose to not use concrete for our driveway project, so we did not hire him and his team. I think they would have done a great job, we just went in a different direction.

We hired Eric and his team to pour concrete in our basement, and we are extremely happy with the job. We needed to have the dirt in our basement dug out of an area around the garage and in a back root cellar. Eric offered a bid that was reasonable and within our budget, and was very professional throughout the entire process. He carefully managed every detail of the week-long project and coordinated and supervised progress every day. For example, he had a team come in to first dig out the dirt and had a dump truck arrive to haul the dirt away; Eric would stop by to monitor progress and ensure that the appropriate depth had been reached in the digging and that all dirt was successfully removed. When it was time to lay rebar, another team arrived and again Eric would check-in to ensure the work was done correctly. On "pour day", about 8 people showed up to coordinate the laying of the actual cement, including one guy who seemed to specialize in 'finishing' the cement by making sure it was perfectly even and smooth. Every step of the project was well thought out and managed. All around, we are 100% satisfied with their work and highly recommend.

This is a review for Eric, the owner of Diamond Concrete. Although I did not end up going with him - I have to say, he is incredibly helpful and seems to really want to make your experience as positive as possible. He is very thorough and asks great questions, makes great recommendations, and is super responsive. I don't know for sure, but I can see how he would be flexible around requests and changes, and also stand by his work. You might be wondering, then why didn't you go with him? In the end, it all came down to price. He has fair prices for the amount of work he was planning on putting in but I ended up reducing scope significantly and found someone who could start next week!
