I was able to book with Nora for a haircut about three days out, and online. The SMS (text message) reminders made it easy to show up on time. It definitely feels like hanging out in someone's cool loft apartment. Banter was friendly, positive, and slightly snarky. The second floor location is nicer than being in a window, it feels more exclusive. It's not just philosophically better to support a local business you love, as opposed to a micro-chain, it just feels so much better.

I've been following this Barber since his early days working at peoples barbershop. He's got a really nice space on Broadway In Oakland and he really knows what he's doing. Great Barber good conversation and if you're up for it a glass of whiskey.

Dan is one of the great ones, a 100% genuine individual. Chatty or chill, whatever the mood. And it's a great haircut. It's really nice to be able to cross "barber" off the list of things I need, totally my guy.
