Joaquima is not only the most PERFECT hairstylist out there for mine and your curls, but the kindest. I make a 60 minute commute to her and another going back 4 times a year, and it’s all worth it. If you are like me and used to leave the salon feeling the same or worse, but that’s not the same at Curl Story. She is so understanding and gave me not only the best advice but also best products. LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR, BUT IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CURLS THAN YOU WILL GET JOAQUIMA TO DO THEM!!
So glad to have found Quima! First haircut today - looked great walking out of the salon (if you have curls, you know that much of the time you have to go home and re-do your hair). Quima is really gifted at cutting and styling curls, and just a pleasure to be around. I got a full haircut and also a mask to remove the product buildup so my curls could bounce freely. Will definitely be back!!!
Joaquima is the owner-stylist of this one person studio and she is fabulous. I’ve never had good hair (that’s a direct quote from my mother 🤨) until I visited Joaquima. She knew exactly what do to bring my frizzy, vapid curls to life. I’ve been to other curl specialist, but they’ve never been able to do this. Plus she’s a genuinely lovely person who made this introvert very comfortable. You will love her.
