My daughter attended Civicorps briefly until she was randomly terminated and accused of fraud! Her workers right were also breached. Civicorps contacted me by phone then said they couldn't speak to me anymore when I mentioned that my daughters rights had been disregarded. They claim to help youth but instead they fired her before the holidays and labeled her as a fraud over miscommunication.

I knew I wanted to get my high school diploma one day. I didn't know my next steps until I found out about civicorps. On my first day, I was welcomed with open arms and treated like family. I have never met an entire school that wanted me to be successful. The classrooms were great with teachers who not only educated us but made sure we understood the material given. When students passed a certain test or have passed with a passing grade they are recognized. Having the privilege of completing all of the requirements to graduate and presenting a portfolio was a great experience. "Outdoor Adventure, High School Diploma, Hard Work!" I happened to see a team from this organization trimming the brush around the Iron Horse Trail in San Ramon. This was a big job, and they had a large team out here doing the work. Armed with powerful chainsaws, they were diligently trimming the overgrown vegetation hanging on the fence. "Who are these people?" I wondered. I had a chance to chat with the supervisor, Steven, as well as one of the team leads, Caleb, and they explained what the organization is all about.
