Zero help. Brittany said they don't help homeless seniors and said since I haven't paid my rent in months I am technically "homeless" even though I've been here 16 years and am not threatened with eviction. I couldn't pay my rent for a while, there was a pandemic and some people like me could not pay rent, however she is unaware and uninterested in knowing about all the help that the City of Oakland and the State of California have that keep seniors like me in their own housing no matter how behind on the rent they are, doesn't matter to PACE I guess. They are getting worse and worse everyday. My mother has been struggling with her dental issues since last 2 years, they've changed 3 dentists, and none of them have been able to help her out with her teeth. She's been eating with great difficulty and that has affected her health severely. All her complaints are going to deaf ears. She's totally unhappy with her doctors there who do not understand her health issues and just keep on adding to her list of medicines. And the worst part is their transportation, as many others have noted here. We are so happy with the services provided by all of the caregivers here. We care so much about our father. My father has been a member since May 2021 it took him a little time to get adjusted and acclimated to that location but quickly became comfortable after meeting his doctor, therapist they are all on site. Naturally we wanted to find a place where we could trust the staff. This center is absolutely amazing! CEI is a hidden gem and anyone looking for a wonderful facility with caring and professional adults - look no further this the place that will care for your loved ones.
