It's a big store with A LOT of hair care products, wigs, hair for braids, and weaves. But it's kind of frustrating how most of their combs, brushes, clips, caps, etc. are locked. I understand that it's due to theft, but as a customer who travels from WC to shop here NOT steal it's irritating that I can't check or touch the product without having an employee in lock step to unlock every item I want to look at.

I know the shop is in Oakland, so it's understandable, but I really don't like to be followed every minute to see if I'm a shoplifter. Very demoralizing. I'll go somewhere else. Probably another city.

This store mostly sells hair and natural hair products. Service is nice. The little old Asian lady in the back helped me with an item with no price, and they put a new sticker on it too so that other customers wouldn't have the same issue. Cashier girl seemed really tired but was still fast and cordial. Product is market price.I bought a lactic acid soap that is a complete mystery to me, from Lebanon. The product has no reviews online so I don't know how they got it but it's interesting. If you have kinky/curly hair this place will be a treasure trove for you, so many shampoos and conditioners.
