I can’t thank technician Chris and owner Laura for coming to my home in suburban Seattle to get my beloved O’Keefe and Merritt stove back working like new. The oven was shutting off mid-bake. Chris suspected the pilot light was clogged, which turned out to be the case. Despite my trying to blow out the clog with canned air and Chris’s guidance over the phone, the pilot would not cooperate.
I tried mightily to find someone local to work on my stove, to no avail. Chris and Laura flew from California to Seattle and spent the better part of an afternoon not only getting the oven working, but also greasing and unclogging the burners, two of which had not been working... read full review

Omg...I have been without a working oven for over a year. Could not find anyone who was able to work on antique stoves and Chris came in and fixed the issue in less than 5mins. He showed us how to fix it for the future And spent the rest of the time we paid for and honestly a little more educating us more on the stove.

I wish I could give more stars because Chris deserves them! I have a super antique stove from 1910-1920s which got me a quick rejection from 4 other stove repair places I tried calling. One person came out and charged me money just to tell me there’s nothing he could do about it. Needless to say, when I contacted Apple Stoves and Chris answered confidently that he could fix it the next day, I was relieved but still had a little apprehension if it could actually be fixed. We had a gas leak on one of the knobs (confirmed by pge) and one of the pilots would not light back on so we needed this fixed asap since we were living without a stove for a few days and possibly longer... read full review
