This review is for a major HVAC upgrade we did with them in 2021. I really appreciated their detailed back and forth on system design, which allowed me to focus on energy efficiency and comfort (we had them install a variable speed heat pump system). The work was done in schedule and with a lot of attention to detail. All the air vents were redone, which meant enlarging holes in the floor. Something that's potentially messy but came out really nicely. There were only two hiccups: 1. They initially installed the wrong thermostat. A variable speed heat pump needs a specialized wall controller. After I noticed that, they sent a senior technician to have it replaced. 2. Despite being listed as a BayREN contractor, they failed to apply for the rebate for me and even after a lot of prodding, they just didn't do it. It seemed their office staff was completely overwhelmed and their leadership not paying enough attention I still use them for annual service and friends have had great experience with them. I would have given them five stars if not for the rebate debacle.
Jonny, the service technician came out to look at my heater. he was on time. Explain everything to me that I needed to know about the overall service big shout out to the receptionist. She was the first person I talked to great customer service skills and made me feel welcome as a customer. This company did an outstanding job five stars all the way around. Thank You
Terrific experience and service for over a decade with Anchor. The main house heater went out on Monday. That evening they were able to come assess, and within 48 hours had the replacement board needed + installed.
