Elaine (I think that’s her name) operates by herself and operates very efficiently. Very quick with her scissors. Got a 3in trim for long hair at $18. My family all got haircuts. It was nice chatting with her in Chinese. Very kind.

Would totally recommend. I feel like not enough people know abt this place. I’m thinking abt going back for a dye. ?

Have come here for a few years now. I write this after her Covid-19 re-opening and she now takes extra care with mask, gloves, safety glasses and a face shield. At no point does she need to touch you, and she even has a special tool to make sure the mask stays on but she can still cut the hair around the ears.Elaine is always friendly and does a great job on my asian thicker and slightly curly hair. Price is extremely good, but even if it were higher there would be no problem coming to Elaine each time, especially during Covid times now.I walked in, but she also takes appointments.

What place and what a person dedicated to her excellent work I mean I don't have a words for her phenomenal work I am took my wife to have her hair done she did the excellent job she is an artist and she have a magic in her hands to perform the job we live in El Cerrito and there is lots of hair salons and she is in Oakland we decide to go to the place where we get satisfaction we highly recommend her to everybody to check this place out
