The attention to detail that they pay to sewing your items is incredible. I have taken blazers, coats, pants and dresses to them for various alterations, and you cannot even tell the item was altered. Theresa is fantastic at suggesting an additional dart or modification to make you look even better. Highly recommend. Just remember --cash only.
I found a very lightly used The North Face jacket at a consignment shop. They don't make this particular jacket anymore-it's a classic. (I have the same jacket in gray and it is WELL worn. So I was very excited with this find.)But, the zipper was broken (which is probably why such a find was being consigned rather than worn plus I got a discount). I brought it to Jad S and the woman helped me right away. She quickly assessed and made her recommendations. I explained that this jacket would often be worn while boating so easy off and on, as well as water proof-ness were important. The zipper was replaced in a week and I am VERY happy. I didn't notice any odors or mean people, well, none that work at Jad S anyway. I highly recommend this little shop for their quality, timely work and reasonable prices!
I had my wedding dress taken in, hemmed, and had the shoulders tightened here and they did a wonderful job at an even better price! I highly suggest coming here from simple tailoring to wedding dress fixes!
