Costco Car Wash offers a quick and reasonably priced car wash service, with 5 rows of dryers that effectively dry vehicles. While the rinse may not completely clean the tires, leaving some white residue, the overall wash is considered a great value for the price. The car wash uses automated systems that make it fun and efficient, almost like a mini amusement park ride. Customers appreciate that they can put gas first and choose to add a car wash for $7.99 afterward, often avoiding busy times in the morning. Although the wash does a good job cleaning most dirt and grime, it may not fully remove dry bird poop or marks, which could require manual cleaning. The included tire and wheel cleaner was found to be disappointing, as tires and rims often remain just as dirty, prompting some customers to wipe them manually. One minor downside is the lack of vacuums inside the station, so customers usually bring a portable vacuum and drying rags for interior cleaning. Overall, Costco Car Wash provides a convenient, quick, and affordable option for those needing a decent car wash on the go.
If one has experience with drive through car washes, then you'll notice this is one of the better systems. It even dresses your tires (when the machine is working). Great for a drive through, but still have to wipe down for a 10/10 clean experience. Overall, definitely meets Costco standards.
One user with a grey truck commented on damage, clearly rock chips and not the machines fault. Set expectations appropriately.
It’s a very generic car wash. You pull in, it takes your car through, and you drive out. It gets most of the big stuff, but leaves a lot of small things, and you should really pull into the parking lot after and wipe down your car.
The Costco Norwalk car wash was pretty reasonable to clean up my Subaru Crosstrek. It definitely got the job done and I can say that this car wash is better than many of the other machine car washes I have tried before, including the Chevron machine car wash. I would recommend this car wash to get your car clean!
