This place is filthy. The staff is extremely rude… so much so, my friend and I, who are around the same age…the nail tech asked her: “is this your mother?”, pointing to me. We both told her that was rude to ask…yet she kept saying it over and over. Needless to say, I ended up getting an infection from just a simple mani/pedi. Urgent Care told me one-hundred percent they don’t properly clean their tools. I have no idea how they pass health inspection. AVOID THIS PLACE.

After the owner replied to my review I am updating my review. I don't want to give a ma and pa trying to make it grief especially if they're trying to make amends. I'm just glad my bad experience was addressed and hopefully nothing like that happens to another customer this store has.

I've been a patron of this salon off and in for over 12 years. Due to Covid, I hadn't cut my hair in well over a year. I searched for an open, safe environment once I was vaccinated and found myself back at Shear Beauty. I was amazed at the extreme measures they have taken to assure the safety of their patrons. I was equally pleased that Nora was still working as a hairdresser as well as Cassandra Skin Care still operating inside. Appointments are made by telephone and masked patrons may not enter until their specific appointment time. While I'm not familiar with all the working cosmetologists I did see that there was another patron very pleased with her manicure In progress. Nora was able to give me an excellent cut working with what was initially a disaster and with separate appointment, Cassandra (Cassandra Skin Care) did a fabulous job on these old squirrelly brows! I look forward to a full facial in the coming weeks. I Highly recommend both!
