Great experience with ultrasound imaging. Easy to find location, free underground parking. Kind, professional staff and beautiful Harry Potter-themed office. My results were posted within few hours of my appointment.

I honestly had no idea that health care could b this good, easy, calm. A huge weight has been lifted off me because of these amazing people. Thank you all so much.

I saw Dr. Jerry Markar for a new patient visit at UCLA Pain Management. The appointment lasted approximately 5–10 minutes and included a very brief physical exam. No treatment was provided; I was advised to obtain an MRI.

The visit was billed as a high-level consultation (CPT 99244), resulting in a significant out-of-pocket charge.( They billed Insurance $1,100 and $390 out-of-pocket bill for us) I requested a coding review, which was ultimately declined based on physician documentation time.

Patients should be aware of how brief visits may be coded and billed. I would avoid.

The place feels like a whimsical Harry Potter castle, rooms are clean, you have your own locker too.

PS: If you are a new patient and don’t want any delays on your appointment, make sure you email or upload your last appointment images on the uclq health chart or have your old Dr send those to UCLA or office. You can also pick the CD if you got it done with Kaiser or have them send it trough. Call them in advance. The office needs those in order to proceed with your appointment, FYI. Get your homework done before arriving on your appointment date. 📅

Have never felt so attended to, this staff is amazing. Didn't even have to ask for a blanket, they brought me two warm ones. Thank you Dr Haghighat, Dr Miller, and amazing staff.

Interior design is amazing, it feels so much more comfortable instead of the traditional sterile doctors offices. Staff was friendly and efficient, was in and out under an hour.

No issues with the standard of care, but it’s ridiculous that in suite 210 they make patient escorts sit in the corridor where there are no seats and won’t allow them to sit in a completely empty waiting area/reception with plenty of seats. I left the building to wait outside because of this, but then got a call to come back for my husband. Even then I was still made to sit on the floor in the corridor outside. It’s disrespectful and inconsiderate.

This facility, constantly under construction, is awful. The parking underneath the building is insane, even by UCLA Parking standards (cf. the lot under headquarters at UCLA Medical Plaza), always full, presumably by employees, with dangerous turns, especially the entrance, with mostly 'compact' spots and no way to turn around at the end. Avoid. The 'entrance' is always temporary, crammed with gigantic construction pickups and their debris. I tripped on some of it trying to navigate the route. Too bad if you need to drop someone off. For my visit, my attending nurse was wholly insensitive and incompetent, during my scan experience. Figures. Unfortunately, this place is very convenient for me and one of the few not on the Westside.
