I’m a hairdresser. I moved in November 2023. I had been at another salon suite company for almost 19 years. My clients trust me and that means a lot to me. I was so excited to learn about Phenix Salon Suites and even more excited to learn that the founder is a hairdresser! Management is great. Alec, the manager does an awesome job. He listens and is always willing to help with a smile. Everyone smiles here because they’re happy! My clients love coming here & they love the vibe of Phenix Salon Suites. I am actually a hairstylist and I started working at this location when they opened in November 2023! I had worked at another salon suite in studio city for 14 years so I was definitely nervous and worried about the change but I am here to tell you it was the best decision of my career! Honestly I love this company and how it is run ! Everything makes sense ! Management is amazing ! Alec is a great manager always there with a smile and willing to help! The fact that this company was founded by a hairstylist is what makes the difference it is truly designed with the stylists in mind !

I absolutely love working at Phenix Salon Suites and being a client here. It is quiet, convenient, easy, on the ground floor and drama free. You can be as social as you want or don’t want to be. I have made friends in the business and we have referred each other business already. It is great for networking! I love that I can have my own suite decorated the way I want. I love that I don’t have to hear every other clients’ life stories and I can just focus on my client in the chair. It is relaxing and super private. I feel safe working at all hours of day or night. We are in a mall that has traffic at all hours which makes me feel safe. The mall is beautiful & peaceful. If you are looking for a salon in NoHo, look no further!
Update 7/18/24:
The salon rooms are either freezing or the ac doesn’t work. The wifi doesn’t always work and there’s no cell service. Corporate will not respond to emails on behalf of 20 suite renters. The bathrooms don’t get cleaned well. I just cleaned them myself today with my own cleaning supplies. If you’re looking to rent here, I would take your own look during busy hours to see how the place is kept up. It is disappointing for what is a brand new beautifully built location.
I recently visited this establishment for a service, excited to indulge in some self-care. However, my experience was marred by an overwhelming stench that greeted me in the hallways. As I entered, I was met with a horrid smell that instantly put me off.
Upon speaking to my beauty professional about the odor, she informed me that someone else in the establishment had burned sage and incense, resulting in the lingering unpleasant smell. It was evident that this was a recurring issue that affected not only customers but also the professionals working there.
While the service itself was satisfactory, the pervasive odor significantly detracted from the overall experience. It's concerning that management has not taken action to address this issue, especially considering the impact it has on both customers and the businesses operating within the establishment.
As someone who cannot tolerate strong smells, I sympathize with my beauty professional and others who have to endure this unpleasant environment regularly. It's essential for management to take proactive measures to ensure a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons and professionals alike. Addressing the issue of lingering odors should be a top priority to prevent it from negatively impacting future experiences
