Unfortunately, they didnt do much for me. I was very disappointed because my friend referred me to this housing program because they found a great placement for her. When i went in there, i was not greeted even though it was not busy, i felt like a DMV line. Either way, they could not provide the services I was looking for.
This place could be a great place but the way they run this place is like a prison. They have zero respect for the homeless unless they like you. The donations that are meant to house the homeless goes more towards the employees. They get so many benefits and get to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner for free. They do absolutely nothing but eat and scroll on their phones. They have no knowledge of services offered if any. They can't point you in the right direction because they don't care about the participants success. They only care about their paycheck. If you verbalize a concern you get targeted. This place has a lot of issues. But I'm not going to complain about them. The fact is nobody does it better in Los Angeles. I'm grateful for the services they provide for the community.
