We had an emergency a few weeks ago. My adult son called me and he had scratched his cornea in his sleep. He couldn't open his eyes. It was a Saturday. I was on the phone for an hour calling every eye doctor I could find. No one was in on a Saturday. I had experienced this before and know that the emergency room cannot help with this issue. Finally one doctor's office suggested that I call an optometrist. I called Salt Optometry. Dr Semino was ready to leave for the day. She said she would wait for us. She is so kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Cara Semino took the time to really discuss and explain all my options and has delivered the best prescription and the sharpest vision I've had in many years. I trust her completely and highly recommend her. From excellent communication to the delivery of the perfect glasses and contacts, it has been a 5-star experience. And they handled the vision insurance claims, SALT Optometry is a wonderful addition to our little island village.

I just completed my first of three RF treatments for dry eyes at SALT Optometry in Newport Beach. The place is beautiful with a great selection of SALT glasses and other brands. Even better was all the staff there. Jessica is so great and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. There truly is a chill, friendly but highly professional vibe there. I saw Dr. Semino for my procedure. She was super friendly, thorough and informative. I’m excited to complete the three procedures, they are actually very relaxing, and get some relief from my dry eyes, and hopefully stimulate some nice collagen at the same time!
