Their representation, and what they stand for is not what it's cracked up to be. The people that I met and spoke to thus far seem a little "off" in my opinion. I had some "really good" items that I decided to stop advertising on and donate instead. I made contact with Fred (FB). He advised me to contact Greg S. We spoke that night and everything was discussed he asked for pictures and I delivered. The next day I didn't hear back from them. I called Greg and left a voice mail message. Nothing! So I then decided to re-post a reply on FB basically mentioning I haven't heard anything back and are you guys still interested in my items? Keep in mind I'm moving out of my place June 1st. Okay so after my FB post Greg contacted me apologizing about being busy. He also said that he sent me a text, but since I didn't respond that he thought I was no longer interested in donating. Hmmm! I never received a text from him or anyone within their organization. But nonetheless I get it! It's understandable their a business, and of course their going to be busy. So we set up a time for him to pick up. It was a little over an hour later and I didn't hear any word or update. I texted Greg and was like "any news on eta"? I then get a call from an Andrea saying that she's leaving Newport Beach and to give her 20 min. That's cool, but I was a bit confused because at first I was dealing with Greg and then having a surprise call from Andrea. Whatever! So she and some young kid came by to pick up the donated items. They spoke briefly about the program and their services which was helpful and good to know. Andrea left a business card and said that she'll (or someone) within the organization will be back to pick up the rest of the items. Those items were to big to get i.e. bed, futon, tables etc. So this morning I sent Greg a reminder text just saying, "hey were moving and please don't forget the items still available". He texted back and said that Andrea wasn't "sure" about the other items we had leftover. He said, "So, maybe you can bring the rest to Salvation Army or something- thank u". Quote. Mind you the items they grabbed yesterday were small boxes of food, table/shelves (small stuff). The other items were too big for their vehicle yesterday as I already said, but that's why they had to return for everything else. The remaining items I had left over were 6 month old which was bought brand new from IKEA. So I have to wonder is she letting go of good donations because their big therefore more time will be needed...bigger vehicle more man power whatever. And then the fact that Greg took her word alone. Pretty silly! I don't get it!
