About Beach City Massage and Bodywork
Beach City Massage and Bodywork is a cute, clean, and comfortable spa in Newport Beach. The massage table is warm and the ambiance is relaxing, with perfect, soothing music and details like eucalyptus. The therapist is beyond gifted and amazing, with incredible attention to detail and high quality bodywork skills. Sessions are conducted as a holistic therapy, offering a relaxing mind and body experience where both are harmonized. The therapist listens to the body and intuitively addresses issues, using special techniques like deep tissue and hot stone to customize each treatment. This caring approach provides effective relief, allowing clients to feel 100% again. It is hands down the best there is and highly recommended.
I can't say enough good things about this place! From the second I walked in, it felt super calm and inviting -- clean, relaxing, and not overly fancy, just really comfortable. My therapist was amazing and actually listened to what I needed. I mentioned some tightness in my shoulders and they worked out all the knots without making it painful. The massage was one of the best I've had -- great pressure, super thorough, and I left feeling like a new person. You can tell they really care about what they do. If you're looking for a legit massage that actually helps you feel better, this is the spot. I'll definitely be coming back soon!
My mom received a massage for Mother's Day from Danny, and she hasn't stopped raving about it since! She said it was hands down the best massage she's ever had. He did an amazing job with deep tissue work--firm where needed, but always checking in to make sure she was comfortable. He asked thoughtful questions beforehand, was very accommodating throughout, and clearly knows what he's doing. His knowledge and attention to detail made the whole experience feel personalized and professional. She left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already wants to book again! She's already planning to recommend him to her friends--and I would 100% recommend him too. If you're looking for someone who takes their craft seriously and truly cares about their clients' well-being, definitely give Daniel a try!
I've been on the hunt to find the best massage for me in OC, so during Black Friday 2024, I purchased 3 Groupons for 3 different massage spots. Beach City Massage and Bodywork was the final spot I tried of my three Groupons and wow- I'm might need to keep getting 90 Minute Massages from here on out. Danny was an amazing, attentive masseuse. Before starting the massage session, he confirmed the time length booked and asked about preferences between relaxing or restorative & any areas of focus. He also made sure to let me know I should inform him if the pressure is too hard or too light at any time. During the session, I could tell that the massage wasn't a routine (this area for X minutes, this area for Y minutes). Danny responded to and adjusted to the tightness and needy spots all over my body as he made his way around. Throughout the 90 minutes, I felt like every area of my body got the attention it needed (ex: more time in tighter spots). The hot stones were nice, but the hot steaming towel was my favorite heat feature used because it was so hot but cooled before it felt too hot. After the massage, Danny let me know about certain areas he observed tightness and areas/muscles he spent extra time on. He also advised me about taking it easy if I were to do any stretching or yoga the same day because I might be looser from the massage work done. That was a thoughtful warning he gave. The location (5001 Birch) is interesting. Plenty of parking on a weekend, but that's because it's a very "dead" spot on the weekends. I think all other offices are closed on Sundays, so inside was dead too. I did feel a little on edge about going in and being alone with a masseuse I hadn't met before, but all is well! Now that I know what the massage room looks like and the space it's in inside the office center, I feel more comfortable. The massage room is located in a different therapy center space (it was like a room you go into for PT when you need hands on work done on a table from a PT). TLDR: Wonderful full body massage. Definitely would go back for another massage. Plenty of parking on weekends.
