Always excellent. We adore Dr. Canan, a man of skill and compassion. And Dr. Coscarelli, too, who would be our vet if we didn't already have Dr. Canan. Staff is lovely, too. Highly recommended.
I have been going to Newbury Park Vet Clinic for over 40 years. The vets have come and gone (retired or died) and the new vets that have taken their place have been just as good as the founding members. Dr. Hyman saved one of my dogs by noticing a cancer tumor in my Rottie's mouth when he was cleaning his teeth. Early treatment gave him another 5 years. Dr. Luckingbill is currently treating my Chihuahua for a cracked jaw received in a bobcat attack. I cannot count the times I have gone to them and been very happy with the care I've received for my animals.
Very patient, and very helpful! The staff is friendly. My dog is very anxious when it comes to the vet, and him being a Pitbull, most automatically stereotype him as mean or vicious. He is a huge baby, and scaredy cat lol They allowed me to hold him, as he likes to be held like a baby over the shoulder, while one nurse ged him baby food to keep him occupied and calm, and the other administered his shots. He didn't even notice it was happening. Very affordable as well! Highly recommend!
