West Coast World Martial Arts is a highly recommended martial arts school. The lead instructor, KJN Scott Ross, is an amazing and caring teacher who provides excellent instruction and feedback to students. The school has a spacious and professional environment, with a dedicated staff that ensures great communication. Students, including the youngest "Little Dragons," thoroughly enjoy their time at this martial arts center, which is considered the best among the various Karate Ernie Reyes locations.

The new teacher not teach good.Not get any belt. From one level to next level looks like the duration has gone a above 6 month. Every belt get duration one year?? i don't know!Looks like motivation and encouragement to the students has vastly diminished. Looks like a money grab.If go to this place, need money trees all home..

We have been 3 different Karate Ernie Reyes locations (due to change in address). This Newark location West Coast has been the best of all. Few aspects that make it great are:1. Instructor KJN Scott Ross is excellent... clearly cut and above the rest of the instructors. I don't see him often in the Little Dragons Green belt and above, but certainly is there for the first few belts of Little Dragons. Other instructors are fine.2. Spacious location: even when there are 20+ students in a class (which does happen few times), the space does not look over-crowded.3. Professional staff: front desk, great communication.And to top of it all, my daughter absolutely loves this location and wants to do Karate every day (alas her class is only 3 times a week :-))All done right.
