I was looking for a clean eyeliner and she personally pulled out the Yuka app and scanned several different brands for me until she found one that was the right color and was clean (without toxic ingredients).

I was getting married in Napa but as a DIY bride—aka someone offered their house for us to get married in for free) Naturally, I wasn’t about to fork over thousands of dollars for a Napa MUA, so I decided to just do my own makeup. Hair, on the other hand, I knew I couldn’t do, so I decided to just go to Ulta. I also needed to cover up this embarrassing back tattoo I had.

I purchased a kit today and when I got home, discovered that the instructions were missing. I didn’t have a receipt due to a technical snafu so I called the store. Manager Stephanie was my angel hero tonight- she found another kit that was damaged out, scanned the instructions, and emailed them over to me. She then called me to make sure I had received them. It is rare that companies step up to this level of service any more. I will be an Ulta customer forever! Thank you, Stephanie, for saving this tired mama’s day.
