About River Terrace Inn
River Terrace Inn offers a comfortable and clean stay with a beautiful river view. The hotel is well-maintained, featuring a lovely garden, beautiful landscaping, and a warm atmosphere. Guests often praise the friendly staff, who are very welcoming and go above and beyond to assist. The rooms are equipped with everything needed, including a mini balcony facing the Napa river where guests can relax. The inn is pet-friendly, providing dog beds and bowls, making it a perfect place for families, retirees, kids, and especially dogs. The backyard patio area right at the river is wonderful and ideal for relaxing. While the restaurant has a limited dinner menu, the nearby town offers limitless dining options. The inn provides a good breakfast and is conveniently located close to the town’s attractions. Guests should be aware of the deposit policy, which temporarily holds a large amount on the card and takes about a week to return. Overall, River Terrace Inn provides a pleasant and memorable experience with a great location and friendly atmosphere.
Overall, our stay at Napa River Terrace Inn was good, but with a couple of things worth noting depending on what you’re looking for.
The highlight is definitely the location and setting. The view of the river is beautiful and creates a really relaxing atmosphere, especially in the mornings and evenings. The service was also excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel welcoming throughout our stay.
That said, the room layout was… a bit unusual. The bathroom design includes a sliding door that doesn’t stay closed well, and there’s a large open window between the bathroom and the main room, separated by a semi-open wooden panel....read full review
We spent 4 nights in a Luxury King room and it was so nice. We had a river view, which is a must. The hotel is comfortable, modern, and service was great. The location is very close to the Oxbow market and other downtown locations. We were able to leave the car and just walk around. The bartender Abraham was very personable and took care of us each night after we returned from dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great place to stay for going on the wine train.. Abraham in the bar was wonderful had some cold and refreshing cocktails and great wings and pizza....room was spacious and a great view
