Murrieta Family Pet Hospital provides a warm and comfortable environment for patients and their owners. The staff is gentle, reassuring, and truly cares about the animals they see. Appointments are readily available, with minimal wait times. The doctors take the time to thoroughly explain treatment steps, and owners are welcome to stay with their pets throughout the visit. With a cat-friendly and fear-free approach, the hospital offers a stress-free experience. The hospital recently welcomed Dr. Post, who is praised for their compassion and knowledge. Patients and their owners appreciate the hospital's additional amenities, such as couches in several rooms and fresh water bowls in the exam room. However, the community was disappointed to learn about the retirement of Dr. Telles, who sold the practice without notifying regular pet parents.
A couple years ago our usual vet couldn't see us for over a month (our dog was bitten by a neighbor's dog). When I called Murrieta Family Pet Hospital, they made room in their schedule and saw us that afternoon. Since then, we've been going back and have had great service (vaccines, general health things). I really appreciate the time Dr. Post (and his team) take with us. I never feel rushed and they lay out all tests and things they can do to treat whatever the issue is, without any pressure if I choose to forego some of the options. I have always had a great experience with the whole staff here. They’re compassionate and offer amazing things I haven’t experienced at other practices, several rooms have couches, offer a fresh bowl of water for your pet in the exam room and call the next day checking in.
We recently moved into the area and were looking for a veterinary clinic. Our little girl Harper suddenly had some major neurological issues, so we made an appointment with Dr. Post. We were seen fairly quickly and were happy with Dr. Post's compassion and knowledge. The whole staff was very friendly.
