About Clear Water Car Wash
Clear Water Car Wash is a well-maintained business with all the necessary equipment for a thorough car cleaning. The water pressure is good and the place is kept clean. It accepts credit cards without extra fees and offers affordable prices, typically around $8, giving customers plenty of time to soak, wash, and rinse off their cars. The self-serve bays are easy to use, and the power washer and brush are strong and helpful. Customers can carefully involve themselves in the cleaning process to achieve a shiny and clean vehicle. There is a large lot to park the car after washing, perfect for detailing or vacuuming. However, it can get very busy during most hours, especially on weekends, so timing your visit is recommended to avoid long lines. The equipment is intuitive, but users should monitor their time, as adding more time during the wash is not incremental. The hand vacuum is useful but has limited suction power, often requiring multiple charges to clean the interior of a vehicle like a Mazda CX5. Some customers find the extension wire on the brush annoying when it smacks against the car. Payment can be made with credit card, cash, or tokens, but swipe attempts may not always be successful on the first try. Overall, it is a straightforward DIY car wash that many return to for its convenience and affordability.
This is a good
place to wash your car and vacuum too. The carwash was $8, and the vacuum was $2, pretty basic… the deduction in rating was the trash around. It's a contactless payment. We went there on Monday morning, so it wasn't busy, and there were many empty spots. The thing is, if you only use the vacuum, you might have a pending charge of $8 on your credit card, but after a few days, it comes out to only $2. Will come back…
One of the best self-serve car wash spots in the South Bay. The pricing is very reasonable — $5 is enough time to fully wash your car without feeling rushed.
The vacuum stations are clean and well maintained, and you can tell the place is taken care of regularly. Everything works as it should.
Overall, an easy 5-star experience.
This self serve car wash is ALWAYS busy, except early in the morning and late at night. Be sure to time your trip there or you'll wait in a line. There are five bays and there's always a line during most hours throughout the day. The great things about this place is it takes cards and tap to pay. There are other reviews that recommend skipping certain options during the initial timing of the wash. I tried one recommendation before but eventually just did my own thing. You'll find what works best for you. Another great thing is the large lot to park your car after the wash to do the detailing. I should probably vacuum my car but the machines are always busy.
