The old gentleman who owns this place is very knowledgeable and the service is super quick. My spectacles didn't feel this good even when they were brand new! Amazing little gem of a place. Highly highly recommend!

I had 2 great experiences with Benchworks Optical: (i) I purchased new lenses through them that they were able to fit into my old glasses (other optics I tried said they would not be able to do so), and (ii) They fixed my other glasses frame. The work in both cases was professional, fast, and affordable.

I found BenchWorks back in 2009, maybe earlier. I needed new frames. The gentlemen that run this place were so easy to work with. Honest and direct. Amazing service. After I left Silicon Valley in 2016, I continue to reach out to them *first* before buying my glasses elsewhere. I have used them to replace lenses repeatedly, by sending my frames directly to them. They keep my prescription and its changes on file. They remember my name. And my old name. And my kids. This is Old-School service at its BEST.
