I scheduled a behind the wheel driving test at the DMV and at the last minute was in need of a car. I found Deluxe Driving School on Google and emailed them for a rental. Jessica was very responsive and made the process very easy. They offer a few different options on their website. I chose the DMV Drive Test Car Rental with 30 minutes practice time. If you meet them at the DMV you'll get ~ 1 hour of practice time. Instructor Markus met us at the DMV. He was on time, polite, helpful, and made the process extremely easy. I had my first driving lesson with Joseph Guillory and recommend taking classes with him. He patiently answered my questions and had me start in residential areas. After this, we exited the neigborhood and I became comfortable changing lanes and driving on expressways. I had a good experience and appreciated the pacing of the class - I was never uncomfortable, and at the same time was able to try driving on different types of roads and intersections.
Had a great experience with a two-hour lesson! I had some driving experience beforehand but my instructor (Joseph Guillory) did not assume my knowledge/skill level, which was appreciated. He was very patient and informative, and answered my questions as well as provided advice throughout the lesson - all while making sure the routes we were driving on would be appropriate and useful for my skill level.
