Excellent yoga classes with knowledgeable and helpful instructors. I have been practicing yoga for 20 years and have enjoyed many instructors, but Amy Cooper is the best. She never teaches the same class twice. I attend her class three days a week, and every time I learn something new or receive some sort of insight into my practice. She is also very accommodating to those with less experience and/or injuries. I highly recommend Shasta Yoga.
I have been practicing yoga regularly for over 30 years and with Amy Cooper for the last 20! Although I have worked with many teachers around the country, Amy is by far the most knowledgeable and conscientious instructor I have ever met.
Even 20 years later, each class offers subtle tweaks and fine tuning to my practice. Her awareness of body anatomy and mechanics, the students needs, how to get in and out of the poses carefully and responsibly with or without props, is beyond impressive.
She is welcoming, kind, compassionate, dedicated,and wise.

Such an excellent yoga studio! I never miss the chance to practice with Amy Cooper and benefit from her expert instruction, whenever I am visiting Mount Shasta. I have also taken workshops with Shasta Yoga, also excellent! Looking forward to more.
