People normaly only do these to criticize business. In this case I was in a situation where I was back and forth to LA dealing with a family meical issue and desperately needed a haircut. I had never been to Mikes before because my wife was my barber. I called and they were bookeed up and I was leaving the next day. I mentioned that I was in a tight spot and it was Jon the owner who I was talking to. He immediately did some juggling and arranged a few minutes availabilty for that afternoon. Everything was great and on top of that I failed to tip him because I was used to tipping after the card was run and I signed it. I was going to rectify that and Jon just said its all good and bid me farewell. You can tell everything about a business by its owner. I guess this says it all.

Tried to get in last minute to see Jon at the other location. That wasn't possible. Went to Melissa and I couldn't have been happier. Exceptional cut, shave, and customer service. Highly recommend Melissa.

Received a cut yesterday at this location and was very pleased with my experience. The gal was awfully friendly and I could not have received a better haircut. She shared that she was from Los Angeles and had recently moved north to be closer with family. If you want an LA haircut on the coast, go to this location!
