About Mike's Barber Shop

Mike's Barber Shop has been a revered institution on the central coast since 1941. The shop operates by appointment only, and customers can easily book and pay for their appointments through the Squire app.

Customers praise the top-notch service and friendly, welcoming atmosphere at Mike's. The barbers, such as Morgan and Jon, listen closely to customers' desired hairstyles and beards, and they take great care in achieving the perfect look. Customers who have tried to style their own hair or beards at home have been impressed by the professionals' attention to detail.

Walking into the small downtown shop is like stepping back in time, with the barbers knowing their customers by name. However, the business has also embraced modern conveniences, allowing customers to book appointments from their phones. Overall, Mike's Barber Shop is a beloved local institution that provides exceptional service in a warm, nostalgic setting.

I watched the most attentive, patient service I’ve seen in 8 years at Mikes in Morro Bay in all 3 chairs while receiving the best haircut I’ve had in the same time! Rare excellence-

Visiting Morro I took my little dude to Mikes and he got the best cut from Jon. He was very patient, skilled and put my two year old at ease. Will be sure to visit again when in the area.

Recently moved to town, needed a new barber for my son. It was a nice experience, and my 9 year old loved it. Nate was great with him cracking jokes and making him feel more comfortable. Definitely recommend!
