Was assigned this plumber by my home warranty company.
Plumber did diagnostic of my leaky toilet for less than 5 minutes and said we needed to get authorization from the warranty company. After 10 days of waiting, I hired a new plumber who identified a leak in the supply line (simple fix) no charge.
I ended up fixing the toilet myself after a week and half of waiting for John to “seek authorization”.
Poor communication, lack of attention to detail, no initiative to diagnose simple problems.
Received a $100 refund for no services rendered by my warranty company.

John has been assigned to our home via Old Republic Home Warranty twice for a disposal issue and an in-wall pipe leak. Each time, John provided a thorough explanation of the issue, the likely causes, how to solve, and how to prevent further issues of the same nature. He is patient, kind, and answers all questions I’ve thrown at him. We appreciate his speedy response and how he often finishes much sooner than quoted at outset.

John did a great job in fixing the needed items, he came out estimated the repairs sent the info to home warranty for approval. Knowing contractors are very busy right now, the only glitch we had was not getting a response after the approval was made by the home warranty company. We had to call numerous times to get an appointment. John made it right by coming out on a Saturday and doing the needed fixes.
