I bought a Maypex drum kit from CJs. He recommended the brand to get the most bang for my dollar. I was very happy with the drum kit. Excellent service, knowledgeable owner - infinitely better than the bigger chain stores. Also the owner Joe, is very friendly and honest!

I was one of the first customers to ever go to CJ‘s music in Sunnymead. The first store was between Indian and Perris Boulevard. I bought a brand new Pearl MLX five piece kit with cases and cymbals and hardware. Joe has always been a good music person. I left and went to Texas for almost 19 years and when I came back the store was in the new location which is very small. I got out of my car, and Joe knew exactly who I was. We never skipped a beat (no pun intended).

Excellent service, knowledgeable owner - infinitely better than corporate Guitar Center and similar where the associates are friendly, but often don’t know a fraction of what the owner of this store knows. It’s a pleasure to speak with the owner who has a deep knowledge of all things music. Recommended!
