Family MASONS Animal Clinic is a very small clinic but they are always busy but never lack the quality of what they do and always show each and everyone an abundance of care So there's no shortage there. They go over and beyond 2 really listen and show each and everyone they see the attention they need. I only trust and would bring my loved one to Dr. Mason I highly recommend this animal clinic!

Dr. Mason is a remarkable woman, doctor and most likely mother. She said my 14 yr old dachshund didn’t his teeth fixed for quality of life. I disagree. I’m so happy that he doesn’t have bad breath and know it’s his motives my quality of life. Not bad for 98!

I have witnessed this Vet go above and beyond. I think people can lose sight that people working at vet office are real people and just expect them to be open and available 24/7. This Vet and her staff do a great job, Dr. Mason explained the differential with clear pros and cons to each treatment and why it would be in my dogs best interest to proceed with option A. What else can someone want for a Vet.

Honestly, one of the best (if not the best) vets around! Dr. Mason is usually always booked, and for good reason! She gives honest advice and truly wants the best for all pets. She never price gouges or recommend any unnecessary treatments. I bring all my pets to her, and the few times I haven't I have regretted going to somebody else when I've been in a pinch. I travel 30min to get to her clinic specifically, because I've never found another vet that compares! Overall amazing, couldn't recommend her more to everyone I know! *Ask about their dental cleanings - they're usually booked out and you'll need to wait ~6 months, but so worth it and affordable!!

Not posting to help Dr. Mason she doesn’t need my review but for families. This is the vet we wished we found 7 years ago when we got our dog! She is amazing. She takes the time with you and addresses all your concerns. She is amazing with animals- our dog likes her and is skiddish with other vets. Shes more “low-interventionist” than high. She is affordable. She is natural minded! Will not shame you if you don’t want to vax or spay/neuter your animal. However, she is also very supportive of your treatment choices and will vax if that’s what you want or if you want to spay. She is highly supportive of a natural food/real food diet for your animal. I especially love that she will give you treatment options that are cost effective (often free) that you can do at home. She is the best vet I have ever had. My only “wish” is that she had urgent care or “emergency” hours or that you could get in quickly next day when needed. She is booked out 2-4 wks at a time and although they will book you when there are cancelations in a high need time, it just doesn’t happen. I forgot to mention she will also CALL you back and speak with you personally, on her OWN time. I forget the issue we had but it was prior to coming to her for the first time and she called to explain something to me. ? Extended hours?- well Dr. Mason needs to be able to spend time with her family too!! All in all I cannot say enough good things about this vet. If you are natural minded this is the place for you!! I found her when I was reading another review on ANOTHER Vets site which was bad and they said they went here and it was a world different to their bad experience with an emergency pet hospital (something with abscessed tooth on dog). Thank you to that person!!!!

I would recommend coming here, before I came here I went to a different vet and Dr.Mason spotted something that my dog had that the other vet didn’t spot and the other vet was trying to get me to spend more money to figure out his diagnosis. I can tell that Dr. Mason isn’t about the money and she cares for animals. It meant a lot when she would call me asking me about my dog on how he was doing because he was sick and thankfully he’s now healthy thanks to her.

My husband called today as our dog broke a nail . We wanted to switch to a local vet as as Westlake is pretty far . We saw the reviews and were excited to switch care as it is pretty close. The woman answered the phone and laughed at the idea of getting our dog in today and said it be three weeks. She didn’t seem at all she wanted our future business and was quiet condescending . We understand it’s busy and you may not be able to see us but the attitude about it was not ok. I don’t know about the vet as they may be wonderful but we did not have a great first interaction .

Reviewing on behalf of my friend. Their cat was CLEARLY meowing out in pain, constantly hiding, and constantly trying to use his litter box with little to no success. When my friends mother called the vet and told them about what was going on they gave them anti biotics WITHOUT even meeting the animal first! Which apparently is highly unprofessional. The soonest appointment they had was in EIGHT days. After finally getting a second opinion two days later they strongly encouraged my friends mom to go to the vet ASAP. When they got there they stressed how IMPORTANT it was that this cat got there when it did. The cat had, Urethral Obstruction, something that IS deadly when untreated. But because my friends mom trusted the advice of the veterinarian this poor baby almost died and suffered through 3 days of needless pain. He is currently recovering at Conejo Valley Hospital and they have treated my friend and their cat with nothing but kindness. I understand this vet can be very convenient especially if you are lower income but this has clearly come at the cost of quality. Please get a second opinion and do NOT let your vet ignore your concerns or prescribe medication without even meeting the animal first! I hope I’m the only person with such a horrible story, because these past few days have been incredibly stressful when the problem could’ve been solved much much sooner and I can only pray this furry friend makes a quick recovery 3

We have visited a few other vets in LA and the 2 vet hospitals in Moorpark and we were so disappointed with the unnecessary tests and upselling. After visiting Dr Mason, we were so grateful we have finally found a place we can trust. Dr Mason is the best. We have brought our 2 cats and dogs here, we cannot thank her enough. The office staff are also wonderful people. I will always recommend Dr Mason to neighbors and friends. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness.

Thank you Dr Mason for your support as we had to say goodbye to our sweet dog, Ollie. Ollie ate something toxic and went into kidney failure. Dr Mason was available to us even after she had us bring Ollie to emergency. She has sent kind words all of today... as we said goodbye this morning. I hope no one has to go through this, but it helps to have Dr Mason and her kind staff at your side .
