We needed a veterinary ophthalmologist on an emergency basis after our Yorkie lost vision two nights in a row and two ER visits later the reason couldn’t be found. We were at risk of her losing vision permanently. I called this clinic and drive 2.5 hours to get there because they could get us in same day. All the staff were amazing with our dog. Dr. Lavallee was extremely knowledgeable and able to pinpoint and treat some possible causes. Luckily we didn’t need to do surgery! The office is adorable and we were very pleased with the experience. Well worth the drive!

From the very beginning, Dr. Horikawa was not only highly skilled but also genuinely kind and compassionate. Thanks to her expertise, the surgery was a complete success—the cancer was fully removed, the graft is healing beautifully, and most importantly, Som-e’s vision has been preserved. Wonderful place with very kind people (front desk, tech, vet). They were able to get my dog in for an appointment quickly and have been so great. My dog is high anxiety and the staff were amazing at calming her and taking their time so my dog could tolerate the exam/treatment. If your animal has any sort of eye issue, I highly recommend just coming straight here for care!
