Dr Cook is the best! He knows the human body, he is an athlete . I went to PT prior to DrCook and in 6 months no change . I heard cbout the chiropractor and Acupunture team and decided to go this route before any surgery. Dr Cook has made me better with treatments that I've been told needed surgery. I am free if any surgery and can do everything normal . I am active and my back a, shoulder, arm are healed. Never had surgery ! I did go about 5-6 treatments and it has been years! Karen his wife , Acupunture is also healing and I worked with both of them towards my recovery. I highly recommend both if them and money well spent! I would not hesitate to see both Dr Cook or KAREN Cook for any issues on my body.
I recently saw Jay Cooke for a stiff neck condition that I had been living with for several years, with progessive loss of motion. I am 66 years old and thought perhaps this is what I had to live with because of my age. In three treatments over three weeks using mostly the Active Release Technique, all of the "stuck" places in my neck were released. I now feel in full health again - wasn't sure that result was possible. Previously, I had seen a different chiropracter from time to time who offered only manipulative therapy - this resulted in limited success - not all "stuck" places were released. Dr. Cooke knows his craft and practices it very well. Recommend him to all seeking a better connective tissue, skeletal and muscular physical condition. I have the highest regard for his services - feel you won't be disappointed. Norm N - Carmel, CA
I made an appointment with Dr. Cook not realizing that his wife is the acupuncturist as I had a kink in my neck that I thought would be most helped by acupuncture and not someone cracking my back. Luckily I made a mistake! Dr. Cook practices Active Release Technique where he pinpoints the problem area and works the issue out by having you move your arms, neck, or related body part, in a way that works the muscle to help release the built-up problem. He's clearly very knowledgeable in what he does and doesn't just crack your back like some chiropractors will. He's really eager to explain to you what he thinks is wrong and thinks it's important for the patient to know what is making them feel the way they do. I really enjoyed my visit, learned a lot, and already feel better. I'd recommend Dr. Cook to anyone who thinks seeing a chiropractor makes sense as he knows traditional chiropractic as well but clearly his larger understanding of the body's movements are a huge benefit to the patient!
