Sonia’s salon is perhaps one of the best salons in the Monterey Park area and here’s why. The owner Sonia is one of the hardest working salon owners I have ever met.

Between taking care of her grandchildren she’s a down to earth hair dresser that knows how to cut not just women’s hair but men’s hair. She’s a great stylist with a great sense of dress and style, not to mention she strikes a similarity to the first lady Melania.

Everytime I come here I know that I get a great style with a no-nonsense approach, whereas I’ve found salons in the Monterey Park area that tend to sometimes push other services such as perms and certain style cuts.

Sonia is always were gentle with my kids and my kids are sitting crying like if they are being killed yet she keeps her calm and does a good job. My kids crying is my fault cause I don't take them in often to get a hair cut (sorry) but she's great with children

Bad service the worst. The barber called me bad names because I didn't give him a $1 tip. Almost got into a fight. A tip is optional not mandatory!. Never coming to this placd again.
