Armando did such a good job restoring my black suede half boots, I brought him these 30 year old stilettos...he did his magic and restored the color, sewed close a hole...stretched to help made what was tight looser, and replaced heel tabs and glued what was peeling. These shoes 30 yrs ago cost a small fortune, so this repair was worth it to me...about 40 bucks. Also Armando called me to let me know the shoes were ready, as he promised when I first dropped them off. Also I think he turned on the air conditioning knowing I would be arriving within 15 minutes. Really thoughtful especially as it was a 100 degree day. Thank you Armando.
Do not go there!! Brought some Danner boots to get resoled. Went to pick them up and he put a different kind of sole on it. It was Vibram sole but not the one that was on originally. Told him that wasn’t I wanted. He said they didn’t have the one that was on before. Told him he should have called me to ask if I wanted that. Argued with him and he wouldn’t fix the problem. Basically saying oh well, take it or leave it. Had no choice since I paid up front for it. Even gave example if I brought in some expensive LV red bottom heels and you put some black bottoms on it, it doesn’t make it the same if it is the same name brand.
