About Wolf Street Tattoo
Wolf Street Tattoo receives mixed reviews. Some customers report a very positive experience, praising the shop's cleanliness, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly artists. They highlight artists who are willing to work with ideas, incorporate their style for a unique and personal piece, and provide quick, beautiful work for walk-ins. Parking is available and the location is easy to find, with a smooth healing process noted. However, other reviews describe serious issues with professionalism and communication from a specific artist. Criticisms include refusing to return deposits or show stencils, poor communication, prioritizing the artist's time, and making customers feel disrespected through unprofessional interactions and missed appointments.
Jeff is super unprofessional. He refuses to give you your deposit back and refuses to show you your stencil. Not good at communicating. Stole $100 from me w no proof of my tattoo being drawn up. Initial message was two months ago, drawing was finished one month ago, and deposit was sent a week ago and still nothing. Prioritizes his time over yours. Gas lights you for him no showing. Tells me I don't understand what it's like to have a kid and how everything isn't always going to go my way. Asks me to call him and when I call him he has no idea who it is. Had to ask multiple times to see my tattoo and multiple times how to send the deposit. I shouldn't have to know everything that is going on in my artist's life. It's simple communication, I sent a deposit to ensure his time not being wasted but what about mine. I can't imagine if I just no showed to one of our appointments and he had to be the one to reach out to me twice for me to say anything.
Absolutely love this place. The cleanliness makes me so comfortable, and they don't skimp on atmosphere. My artists name was Whit, and he was super willing to work w my idea, and was able to incorporate his style, which made the piece not only unique, but even more personal. Everyone seemed very friendly and got along well with each other. There really wasn't much time to think about the pain or process because I was too busy chatting and having a good time. Parking in back is available, and the location is easy to find. Highly recommended, excited to go back.
