We had our Luke here for the last 7 years... unfortunately, we were called to carry out the humane pet parent task and helped Luke cross the rainbow bridge on Saturday, July 18. Staff is compassionate, calming, reassuring, professional, understanding of our sadness, this process, and the grieving. We have a private cremation for Luke. The selection of urn choices is nice. Isabelle is the BEST. She is a kind soul - I asked a special favor, and Isabelle provided my heart with comfort during this most difficult time in my life. I’ve taken my pets here for almost 20 years. I used to have cats and about 9 years ago I started taking my dog Daisy there. Back in March we found out she had some irreversible heart issues. 😔 the staff there were so kind and thoughtful, they all seemed to really love Daisy. Unfortunately Daisy passed almost 2 weeks ago and it’s been so hard without her. Today we received a card in the mail from Village Oak and I just thought it was such a sweet, heartwarming gesture. This place really cares about their patients and I believe they go above and beyond for them. Thank you all for being so kind to us. 💖🐾
