I love planet beach in Modesto. I live in Manteca & drive to Modesto weekly for spray tan. I've tried the Manteca Planet beach, but the spray tan was not even close to the tan I get at the Modesto location. I purchased the same tan color with booster in Manteca as I do in Modesto & the tan I get I'm Modesto is WAY better. I asked them at both locations if they use the same product. They both told me it's the same. I'm not sure what the difference is, but they're is an oblivious difference. Anyway, I definitely recommend the Planet Beach in Modesto for anyone looking for a beautiful tan.
I've been coming here for a couple of years now. The staff is so sweet and helpful and the lobby is adorable to wait in. The red light therapy along with the hydro bed are so relaxing! I love the fact that they have hot worx so I can get a quick workout in and then do the red light therapy to help my muscles recover quicker. They clean the equipment in between people so it's clean for the next client. You can walk in and most of the time there isn't a wait but I love the fact that you can also schedule your desired service so it's ready if you just wanna come in during your lunch.
Place is dirty. Service is pretty good. Girls are nice, but you can tell they are young. I've gone twice at 10 and the store was not open when that is the time is says it open. I bring my own cleaning wipes to wipe things down before I use any of the beds.Wish the owner would put a little time into training the girls that work there how to clean, show up on time and put some money towards new towel, repainting & fixing up.These are all recent photos.
