“Be prepared, this will be a lengthy review... Please read my previous posts and you will see that I normally do not post long reviews. Let me first start by sharing that prior to Stud Construction, I had an existing/trusting relationship with a previous general contractor that I was happy with. The only reason why we considered a 2nd option was because my wife & I were taking on a ginormous project. The intention was simply a sanity check to make sure our existing GC was quoting a fair price. Andrei spent so much time not only answering our questions but informing us of little details that we had not considered. His pricing was fair but it was his willingness to share information that made us feel most comfortable. If he was unavailable to pickup, he immediately returned our call. Truthfully, we thought that this was because he wanted the contract. Well, in the end we went with him... He got the contract and we've worked with him & his crew for over a year now and we're finally wrapping up. I would definitely recommend Stud Construction! This journey should have been difficult, filled with anxiety & stress... Fortunately, our project has not come with any major issues. Maybe we got lucky? I believe what helped the most was the fact that Stud Construction was always accessible. Over these many months, we really got to know Andrei & Radu (his right-hand man) These two make the PERFECT team, I love that they both know what's going on with the project at ALL times. During these months, I can't recall a time where we one needed to "look into something and get back to us". There was never a time where we need to remind them of a previous discussion, THEY'RE ON TOP OF IT! (You know how some companies get so large that it becomes a bunch of red tape... Not these guys!) True ROCKSTARS! Let me take a moment to also mention Sunshyne, she's the one that works behind the curtains. Places all the orders, follows up on the deliveries, expedites shipments, requests RMA's, etc. Keep up the GREAT up work Sunshyne : ) OK, now for their subs... Cabinet Maker A+ Electrician A+ Landscape Contractor A+ Countertop A Finish Carpenter A Plumber A Drywaller A Framer A Stucco A HVAC A Flooring A- Painters B (only because they took longer than expected) I'm sorry if I left off any of the crews, this is all I can remember at the moment. Overall, Stud Construction does a great job choosing their subs and setting proper expectations. I will TRY and post some before & after photos, I wanted to at least post this review before I procrastinate. Just as an FYI, this project took over a year is because this is a 7200sqft home and we also remodeled the front & backyard too. This was a huge project! (Plus, these torrential rains didn't help the situation)“
