Parktown Veterinary Clinic is a full-service small animal hospital offering a variety of services including wellness care, sick pet appointments, dentistry, x-rays, and surgery. They provide services such as vaccinations, puppy and kitten packages, spaying and neutering, and cold laser therapy. The clinic is known for its friendly and communicative staff who are patient and gentle with animals. They take steps to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for pets, such as clipping nails before exams and providing blankets and calming words.
Many customers appreciate the welcoming front staff and the caring nature of the vet assistants and veterinarians, including Dr. Nakagawa and Dr. Thur. While appointments can be easy to schedule and the facility is clean, some reviews mention that wait times can be long for certain services. However, the clinic consistently receives positive feedback for its high-quality care and helpful advice. Customers also commend their assistance in recommending emergency veterinary care when needed, and some note the thoughtful follow-up calls after procedures, which enhance the overall experience for both pets and their owners.
Best Veterinary Clinic I have visited so far. They explained common allergy issues for my dog breed and gave me a plan to test if it's enviromental or food allergies. New food recomendations were given as well as anual vacinations. I appreciated that they had weekend options for appointments. Staff was super informative and patient. Will be transfering to Parktown as my dogs main clinic from now on. Thank you to everyone in the clinic!!! You made sure my dog was comfortable and gave her a lot of love which she enjoys!!!

The Dr & Vet Tech were both very caring; making sure my nervous dog felt as safe as possible. Everything was explained to me thoroughly and care suggestions weren't pushed on me. This was my first time bringing my dog to Park Town Veterinary Clinic. She had a wellness check, caught up on vaccines, heartworm test, fecal sample test. Cost was a little higher than my normal, but I felt okay with it. My dog left wagging her tail. If she's happy, I'm happy.
I deducted 1 star due to having follow up on the status of a basic teeth cleaning estimate.

Parktown Veterinary has been treating our cat, Bullwinkle. Winkle had a problem with his teeth and couldn’t eat. Parktown did the necessary treatment and he is eating good now. In the followup appointments, the veterinarians and the technicians are so patient making sure that healing continues.
