We have been coming here for 7-8 years + and (I forget her name) she is so kind and polite and provides explanations or suggestions on stains and I swear she has photographic memory. My wife and I just show up and she knows us both by name and gets our stuff ! Great customer service!“

“Great place. They take a while by default (~3 days) but they can probably expedite if you ask and they always do an excellent job. Everything is handled by hand and the prices are very low for the Bay Area. Hours are actually 8am - 6:30pm weekdays and 9am - 6:30pm Saturday. Closed Sunday.“

“Top Hat is the friendliest and kindest place to have cleaning and mending done I've encountered on the peninsula and most probably in my life. Their fees are always more than reasonable and they have mended for me jackets, shirts, pants and backpacks on top of all the dry cleaning I send them.“

“So last week I went to 3 other cleaners and none of them would take my coat, it's an expensive coat and I needed to fix 2 patches my dog did. So I understood why they didn't feel comfortable. “They did a truly amazing job on cleaning my wedding dress. I had originally taken it to the chain Elegance Preserved, which called my dress "challenging" due to the dirt at the bottom of the hem, and charged me over $100 more than Rose Cleaners charged me. When I took it to Rose Cleaners, they immediately said that it was no problem, charged me their standard wedding dress cleaning rate, and returned it to me a week later with amazing results! It looks as if it was never worn! Thank you!!“

“Excellent customer service. They were really short-staffed the week I tried them and they took my sweater as a custom rush order so I could pick up prior to leaving town. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I pick ed up my sweater which was handed to me folded in a protective and breathable pouch. I've never received such care for a sweater. Kudos to Crystal Cleaning. They were also very polite and friendly at drop off and pick up. Wish I lived nearby, as I'd come a lot more often .“

Tiffany was excellent and helped me out with a somewhat risky dry clean. She helped me to understand the process involved and the steps needed to be taken as it wasn't a standard clean. “I've been going to Laurel Cleaners for a few years, mostly for tailoring but also dry cleaning on occasion. They always do a wonderful job, especially on original hem for jeans. Today, though, I became a customer for life! The zipper on my daughter's Halloween costume broke while trying it on at 4pm on October 30. I panicked, and rushed it over to this shop. She took a look and told me she could fix the zipper before noon the next day! After being in panic mode, the service and accommodation was priceless for this mama... and she still only charged me $10 for the emergency fix. I can't say enough about how happy I am I knew to bring it here!! They are amazing.“

She greets with a smile and tries to take care of her customers quickly.I have used Martini Cleaners several times now. The first time was for cleaning delicate party clothes (with sequins and custom-jewelry buttons), a man's suit, sweater, and a pair of pants with lining. I was pleased with how the clothes turned out - clean and ironed properly, especially with the pants! The dry-cleaning is done off-premise by other family members, so expect the clothes to be treated with the personal attention that is inherent to a family-run business.The second time I used Martini cleaners, I asked for Genny's help to shorten two pairs of bootlegged pants. I was delighted to see the transformation - they had the perfect length and seemed professionally tailored. In my most recent visit, Genny didn't even charge me for replacing a cracked button. Martini not only provides good value (as echoed in other reviews) but also delivers high quality cleaning and alteration services.Don't be surprised if your clothes turn out looking almost like new.“

“This was one of my favorite experiences, not because it was proximite. Not because they did the best job of any cleaner I've ever known, and I live in Tiburon and still opted to come down here when I would work from my Peninsula office. It was that good.But the 5 stars was for Jeff. I wanted to leave this here before a new owner comes in. Jeff always had a smile, always remembered your name, asked questions about life, and over the last 20 years became a good friend, a constant before, during, and after the pandemic, and I only wish I could have said goodbye. Taken from us far too young, a major life experience for me, and a major source of joy, will be leaving with Jeff, and if any of his family or friends were to research him, in this time of grieving, I wanted this out there that he was a major impact on our community, a shining light of friendly and kind spirit, and a wonderful business owner that added so much to our little San Mateo. When I dropped the dress off around 5pm on a weekday the seamstress wasn’t there, so it’s a good thing I had already measured it at home and had an approximate length to take off.“
