Ginger Taylor, the electrologist at Le Salon, had been highly recommended by the woman who waxes my eyebrows right across the street. Nonetheless, It took me a few years (!) to get around to calling her because I was used to just tweezing my facial hairs. One day, though, after realizing how many hairs I remove each day (I'm lost if I forget to pack my tweezers on vacation), I suddenly feared that if I were hospitalized or lost my wits, I would grow a healthy beard and be unable to do anything about it!
