Please do not go to this man if you are seeking ADHD treatment. I went to him when I was 18 back in 2019. He misdiagnosed me with some form of bipolar and ADHD. The incredibly high dosage of stimulants he would prescribe would cause bipolar symptoms (irritability, insomnia) and every time I would ask him to explain why he thought I was bipolar he could never give me a clear answer. Stimulants made me feel awful and he would never listen to my complaints or concerns. My mother was unsure about my diagnosis and wanted a neuropsychiatric test done on me to confirm it. This doctor told my mother that I didn’t need to take one because I had him. I left Dr. Freed when he...read full review

I'm 40 and this was the first time I sought help for my focus issues. I hit a plateau and I knew there was more but I couldn't get any further on my own. It's amazing how within minutes of talking to Dr Freed (or just Roger - he says they are the same person :). I have this sense that he knows exactly how I think and of the nature of my struggles. I instantly felt very safe, understood and comfortable. In my experience it's been pretty rare to have that kind of connection. Through a combination of medical/scientific explanation and anecdotally from experience he really succinctly describes how these "inefficiencies" arise and cause problems when approaching work tasks. As mentioned by the other reviewer he focuses on the behavioral tips and tricks to steer clear of ADD/ADHD pitfalls and find a sustainable productivity. He describes how to "make deals" with yourself to start difficult tasks. He definitely has an element of compassion and to allow and embrace the creativity and pull that comes with the ADHD experience - sometimes aspects that are treated negatively in a "get things done" attitude. Kind of: Take it as a gift and then also here are some ways to optimize for output. It's a fun balance to work toward. I'm looking forward to continuing my visits!

Never responds to my emails or phone calls. Very expensive. I took my son to get diagnosed and it was expensive. He has never had any follow through nor answered my calls. The letter he wrote wasn't dated so some people will not accept it. That's unprofessional.
