Clean and cozy spot. Easily accessible from the highway. Relatively close to Yosemite. Affordable rates with the option to share rooms and bathrooms or have your own private room. The cafeteria is always warm and has decent food all day!

This spot is horrible. You should never stay here! All jokes aside. I love The Bug. The food is always delicious. Fresh and plenty of options. Even some vegan plates. The rooms are a little outdated, but that just adds to the experience. Take advantage of the spa. Especially if you're out exploring the park. The Bug has become a tradition for me and will be for years to come.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! The person at the front desk was extremely helpful at check in, gave us good directions around the property and to the park. The restaurant (Junebug Cafe) was absolutely delicious with incredible service, fresh ingredients, and great portions to follow a long day of hiking. We stayed in a heated tent cabin and it felt like we were back at summer camp in all the best ways. We would plan a trip back here in a heartbeat. Would recommend to anyone visiting Yosemite Valley or just looking for a mountain getaway.
